Punchout Process
Session initiation
The buyer selects your company inside their procurement system. A PunchOutSetupRequest opens a secure, authenticated session on your ecommerce site.
Catalogue browsing on your site
The buyer shops on your site with contract pricing, controlled catalogue visibility and live stock availability.
Basket return to procurement
The basket is returned to the procurement system as structured cXML or OCI data, ready to create a requisition.
Approval and purchase order creation
The buyer completes internal approvals within their procurement system, which then generates and sends the purchase order.
