Reviews & ratings

Peer reviews offer tremendous value to prospective consumers and tradeit provides opportunities for users to rate and review products on your site. Administrators will have the option to review any content that has been submitted prior to publishing to approve, edit or delete the submission. Ratings can also be leveraged to drive faceted navigation and sort options. Merchants can also report against ratings to give them an idea of which products may need improving/replacing and potentially help in future product research and development.

tradeit can also be integrated with third party services such as Feefo or Trustpilot if your preference is to use an independent review service.

Questions & answers

Encourage interaction not only between your website and your users, but between users themselves. Using dynamic Q&A functionality you can invite users to post questions they have about a particular product or piece of content and allow other users to respond and post answers to them. All questions and answers submitted can be subject to a review process allowing a content editor to approve, edit or delete the submission prior to anything going live on the site. Users submitting content via the Q&A can also be required to have an account on the website before they are able to submit their question or answer.


Utilise tell-a-friend functionality to encourage sharing and word of mouth marketing for all of your products which can be easily integrated into webpage templates. The tell-a-friend feature allows registered and non-registered customers to share product content via email. Customers can add multiple email addresses to share content with, and merchants can control the content and design of the email through the administration system.
