Advanced ecommerce promotion management

The advanced promotions rules based management gives administrators a high level of control over offer conditions including start / end dates and times, minimum spends and include / exclude certain products and or customers.

Start and end dates and times

Plan out your promotional strategy ahead of time by creating and scheduling promotions to auto trigger by selecting specific start and end dates. Merchants can even schedule offers to run during hour by hour time frames, giving you the ability to run true limited time offers at times chosen by you.

Control promotion usage

Limit an offers usage to manage your promotions budget by controlling how many times an offer can be used site wide or per customer. You can also choose whether an offer only applies to a customer if it is their first order allowing for introductory promotions.

Include / exclude specific products, categories, brands and customers

Set the Include and exclude conditions for each offer whether the offer is for specific customer groups, certain products, product category, brand(s) and all products.

Auto triggered offers

Offers can be auto triggered based on specific user actions such as completing a product review, recommending a friend or by visiting a specific URL.

Other triggers include:

  • Basket content – trigger offers based on the products or combination of products a customer selects.
  • Basket value – offer discounts or free products based on customer spend to encourage basket conversion rates.
  • Product quantity – price can be based on quantity purchased.
  • Previous purchase history – maximise customer return rates by promoting offers on products and accessories that complement previous purchases.

Offers Analytics & Reporting

Understand the effectiveness of promotions and offers and identify those which are top performers using tradeit’s dedicated promotion reporting capabilities. Report on e-commerce promotions and offers breaking down the total revenue generated from orders against each promotion or offer. The transactional data required for the reports is stored and processed overnight for speedy querying without affecting site performance.

Features:

  • The offer report screens provide merchants with a number of filters to customise reports.
  • Data included in any reports can be filtered by date range, domain / channel, currency & order status.
  • Information can be viewed in two ways, the first is by grouping offers and the second allows grouping by coupon.
  • Both views provide a summary of information displaying the total number of orders and the value of those orders.
  • Information on which promotions and offers have been used on an order is also displayed against each individual order viewable within the order details screens. Against each order the Promotion / Offer name or coupon code, the discount total (ex VAT, inc VAT) & the discount line total (ex VAT, inc VAT).
  • Drill down to reveal more detailed information (line by line) for each order, displaying the order ID, user ID, customer name, email, order value, number of items, order date and whether it was their first order or not.
  • Report data can also be exported as a CSV to either include the summary information or the more detailed order (line by line) information.
