Order Management

Through the tradeit platform's administration system merchants can view and process customer orders by following their preferred workflow which can also be setup and customised within the platform, allowing steps such as manual fraud screening to form part of the process.

  • Receive / process returns and raise credit notes against orders.
  • Control individual order item statuses as well as the status for the order as a whole.

  • View and investigate detailed order histories including past orders for clients.
  • View billing and shipping address and shipment data.
  • Audit payment details and statuses such as, paid or unpaid, payment method, receipt number, receipt value, transaction reference and authorisation code.
  • Append notes to order statuses to record additional data for orders.
  • Comprehensive information for Individual product line items including product type, code, name, quantity, unit price, line price, line discount and line discounted price.
  • Display detailed order costs including sub totals (Inc ex Tax), shipping (Inc ex Tax), tax and total.
  • Accountability for changes made to orders using the platform wide roles based permissions system.
  • View abandoned orders and re-engage customers through promotions via e-marketing communications.
  • Configurable auto triggered emails to ensure that customers well informed at each stage, increasing customer satisfaction whilst minimising customer support costs.
  • Full two way integrations with other back office systems including ERP and CRM packages including Microsoft Dynamics AX, NAV, SAP R/3, SAP Business By Design, SAP Business One, Sage, Exchequer and others.
  • Integrations between payment providers such as Cybersource and Datacash.


Part-shipments and individual line item statuses

Take full control of part-shipped orders through individual line item statuses. The individual line item status functionality provides merchants with visibility over the entire order line by line, giving them the option to hold or dispatch partial orders.

Investigate, process and print orders

View and investigate complete order histories for your customers, check on and update order statuses, process returns and generate credit notes, print order confirmations, invoices and packing slips, receipts and order line items. View payment information for orders including receipt value, transaction references and authorisation codes. You can now also view the details and attributes for each product line item in an order.

Custom order workflows

Fully configurable workflows within the platform allow merchants to define their processes to their exact requirements. Workflows can be configured to automatically trigger a number of actions to occur including send email, increments status, re-allocate product stock, capture authorisation, cancel authorisation and process return. These auto triggered actions help to ensure a smooth and streamlined process whilst keeping the customer well informed throughout.

Multi-channel order management

Give your customers the flexibility to shop and interact with your brand through multiple sales channels whilst enjoying a seamless order experience. The built-on order management module fully supports multichannel retailers through the separation of orders received via multiple sales channels.
