Editing Pages

conductIT includes an intuitive Word-style interface which enables users to update any page on a web site using only a web browser and a standard Internet connection. The interface ensures that business users require a minimum of training before being able to add additional content to any web site powered by the web content management system.

The interface enables all major functions to be accessed such as formatting text, adding links to other content, adding pictures and video as well as the ability to construct tables to hold information within a standard page.

Approval, Scheduling and Rollback

Once a new page has been added or amended a number of features come into play

• Each page has an approval process dependent on the user's authority level
• Pages carry a justification attribute and an advisory expiry date
• Pages can be scheduled to go live or to be archived
• Pages can be marked as news worthy and a headline and snippet set to appear in the News section
• Pages can appear in many separate websites with the correct template type (brand) automatically set
• There is a full audit trail of changes to each page including the name of the editor, authoriser plus date and time stamp
• The rollback facility makes it easy to revert to a previous page version
